I’ve chosen LinkedIn over Facebook or Twitter because people tend to focus more on professional activities on LinkedIn and thus are subconsciously in work mode even out of work. 

Create engaging content on LinkedIn; posts, blogs, videos or images all will give you results from LinkedIn. But be sure to be strategic while you are working on it. Don’t be a random spammer. Be a thought leader!
